Guest Lecture 10/12/2015 – Dr. Patrick Janssen

Excursions in Performance-Based Computational Design:
Performance-based computational design has become a popular research topic, but its use in practice has remained limited. This talk will define fundamental performance-based design methods, and present examples from studio and research projects at varying scales. A number of web-based tools developed to facilitate the use of such methods will also be presented.
