When Is A City Getting Smart (Or Not)?

Which do you think most needs to get smarter globally? What are the worst things about living in a city? How well do you think current technology can enable a smarter city? Where do you think the help of new intelligence will have the greatest impact?

The problems of global climate change and energy, global supply chains for food and medicine, new security concerns ranging from identity theft to terrorism‚ all issues of a hyper-connected world‚ have surfaced since the start of this decade.
The world continues to get “smaller” and “flatter.” But we see now that being connected isn’t enough. Fortunately, something else is happening that holds new potential: the planet is becoming smarter.
The participants will analyze, describe and visualize different aspects for smarter cities. They will learn about the most important factors to plan and restructure smart and sustainable cities.
