Use the Section.blend file from this forum thread to find out how to render sections of an object. Choose between a) and b) and email the result to treyer@arch.ethz.ch. NO UPLOADING to the server.
a) Write a small text in which you discribe how the section in this example file works and put it into context: is it a good method?
b) Try to produce a similar result in Cycles.
